Hello, my lovely Tribe. The second quarter is coming to a close at SimplyBe. and WOW has it been a whirlwind. It’s difficult to conceptualize that just a couple months ago, we kicked off Q2 with our epic launch party. As the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun, and we’ve had more than our fair share of magical, life-changing fun, along with the long hours, hard work, and challenges that come with running any business.

So what exactly is the SimplyBe. team up to these days? Allow me to give you the 411.

1. We’ve taken a stand.

Myself, and the rest of the SimplyBe. team were horrified by the actions the United States government took against children and families at the Mexican border, so we channeled our horror and heartbreak into action. We started a fundraising initiative, SimplyBe. Human, and our Tribe came together to raise over $4,000 to help reunite families. We were so overwhelmed by and grateful for the support we received, but we still wanted to do more. Cue the collision of two of my favorite things: philanthropy and fashion. In the coming weeks, I will be selling 75 percent of my closet (purses, shoes, tanks, and dresses) at insanely low prices and a portion of the proceeds will go to an organization working to reunite families at the border. Be sure to follow me on Instagram and keep up with my stories for a fun, easy, and inexpensive way to give to an important cause. There might be a few giveaways tucked in as well. ;)

2. We’re hosting an Instagram workshop.

Save the date! On Tuesday, July 31, SimplyBe.’s ridiculously talented Creative Director, Aleksa, will host an Instagram workshop in Chicago. If you’ve ever thought about using this social media platform for business growth in addition to gaining influencer status, then this workshop is a must-attend. Aleksa is a master at creating beautiful, branded aesthetics, but don’t just take my word for it. Check out this Instagram page she’s curated. Or this one. Or this get the point. Not only does she understand the visuals of the app, she has unparalleled insight on engagement, content, and community-building that’s sure to elevate your account to thought leader status in your industry. Stay tuned for more information.

3. We’re going abroad.

This July, the SimplyBe. team is attending its first international conference. July 7-17, we’ll be in Estonia at Mindvalley U, a four week pop-up university festival featuring the world’s most recognized thought leaders. I will be hosting a three-hour workshop on personal branding. If you’re interested in seeing more of what Mindvalley U is about, check out their website.

4. We’ve partnered with The Ascent.

This week, SimplyBe. kicked off a highly anticipated partnership with The Ascent. I have been a long-time admirer of Steve Campbell, founder of The Ascent and good friend and business partner with the iconic Gary Vaynerchuk. We connected a few years ago when I was a columnist for the publication and instantly knew that our companies would have to partner on a project. If you purchase any of our Brand Kits and type the code ASCENT at checkout, you’ll receive 10 percent off of your purchase. This is a great opportunity to invest in yourself while helping foster a community in which everyone can tell their story.

5. We’ve got a MasterMind coming up.

This November, SimplyBe. is hosting its final Magic Mastermind of 2018. Join us in Costa Rica November 10-15 for a healing and rejuvenation. All are welcome, including families, for six days of relaxing, community-building, and personal growth. If a short flight, accomodations in luxurious, eco-chic villas, and the natural beauty of Nosara don’t already have you at the checkout on our website, we’ve included Mastermind costs in our SimplyBe. Human project. If you donate $500 to one of our participating charities and send us the receipt, you’ll get it discounted off your ticket. So give to get and join me for what’s sure to be a powerful, transformative, and light-filled experience.

6. We’re celebrating International Pineapple Day.

People ask me all the time where SimplyBe.’s pineapple comes from. Pineapples are the international symbol of welcome, and our mission at SimplyBe. is to welcome people, as they are, into the world. Today is International Pineapple day, so I wanted to remind you to be welcoming to those around you, and don’t be afraid to let your brightness shine.
